Most often you'll find templates for excel and such, there is also a program that comes with one of the microsoft office suites (more than likely a business class one) that can create gantt charts pretty well but I can't remember the name

Maybe you were just in the wrong degree as I've seen different studies are catered to different kinds of students (though the going to class thing is a motivation issue.)

Well that is terrible, why would that be an official solution rather than reverting back to old font rendering system or removing a specific font that is causing issue. This is like setting a banking website to use a non readable font using

Maybe for the same reasons you offered: readability and easy to look at. Some modern monospaced fonts are rather nice to look at, Consolas for example, and the ability to distinguish between 0O1l easily is an advantage for some fonts withou
