Seriously, and I couldn't trust them not to backdoor the hardware too at this point. It terrifies me that Lenovo is now responsible for pushing out updates to my Moto X (gen 1).

I met my cofounder for Cyph in kindergarten. It was immediately apparent that Josh and I were destined for great things when we attempted to plant the world's first pizza tree (by burying pizza crust near the school playground).

Awesome to finally see this go live! I've been following it since the original Filecoin announcement; seems like a really brilliant concept. I can't wait for this to become a huge mainstream(-ish) thing that everyone knows about l

Sure, we can clarify that on the site. (Thanks for the feedback! It's become pretty clear that our supporting content/documentation needs a lot of work.) The intent isn't to protect from certain classes of entities, so much a

Ignoring the semantics of the phrasing (that's just a temporary placeholder), the intent is to say that we won't ever willfully send a decrypted copy of our users' encrypted data to our servers.

Well that sucks; thanks for letting us know! Chrome and Android have definitely gotten the most attention so far, though this is the first I'd heard of iOS having issues with that. I had run into a similar issue on Windows Phone (and s

Thanks! As far as the crypto, right now it's just straight OTR ( https://arlolra.github.io/otr/ ), but we have some cooler stuff in the works for non-intrusive non-ephemeral encryption. I think the way we handle the
