A bit off topic, but at summer camp many years ago, a counselor looked over my shoulder while I was using GIMP, and said something like "that's a sick joke". And that's how I learned about BDSM.

No, and that's a good point. I've lost a lot of faith in Amazon since it turned out that their Apple chargers were counterfeit (or were actually Apple but from a different country with different safety standards, or something).

Yep, and in my case since I buy groceries on Amazon and don't purchase foods that don't fit my macros, I'd have an even harder time. e.g. I couldn't tell you offhand with certainty how much bread or any particular brand

Technology may play a role. Reaching for a smartphone is easier than recalling a fact from memory. Who remembers phone numbers anymore? I wouldn't guess that memory is the issue so much as less exposure to this type of information in

Where are you getting "hardly" from? In this example, it normally would have been P0 (release-blocker) but was downgraded to P1 (still the second-highest priority) because of a special consideration on the customer's end. The

Complexity sounds to me like more of an implementation-level concern. e.g. A bug might be critical severity if it wipes the entire production database, but low complexity if the fix is to delete one line of code. And maybe its priority is P

You guys are missing the corollary that low-severity bugs being escalated to high-priority is the edge case . The point is that severity is not ignored; it does inform the priority. Most of the time there may even be a direct correlation b

I don't see that as terribly problematic. Unless a specific absolute scale is identified (as per another comment, e.g., the top of the scale meaning "I wrote the book on it"), I would assume the ratings were all relative to e
