Layout breaks for "ko" (and some other sounds) on desktop browser. I was thinking of building similar tool, but using hover and probably doing some smart-ish preloading thing, or adding all sounds to one huge audio file and seekin

I was hoping to find the list of at least 3 oldest bugs, that probably are close to 25 years old too. And a promise to finally fix them, as a part of celebration.

Technology was more interesting about 20 years ago. All different phone models, with constant feature improvements, different form factors, so many different things to choose from. Now we have a boring black rectangle running one of two mob

While I understand the general concern of keeping Android app on latest SDK to keep it secure and periodically check, if it still works on recent Android version, I really hate when new policies are introduced. Had to resort to using ChatGP

You know what's astronomically bad? The website that tricks you into clicking on it by presenting newsletter subscription popup and then starting to load all animated videos at once.

Build a simple Android app, e.g. single activity from default examples, using most recent SDK and all recommended technologies. When compiled it will be 1MB+ in size and take about a second to startup. Take my old Android app from 10 years

Most infuriating when you run VS Code in "portable" mode and it creates at least 3 directories in $HOME. Sadly, the only solution is to use Flatpak and prevent application access to $HOME, by redirecting to alternate locations.

This lo-fi trend makes easier to build an alternative to Instagram and Youtube. Using modern compression techniques, low resolution and framerate requirements make bandwidth a non issue. And low user count helps too.
