I’m guessing it’s completely incidental that the CEO of crowdstrike was critical of China earlier this year, and that China is somehow unaffected by this ‘global’ issue!

Thank you for sharing. It reminds me of a similar website I made with my dad at similar age, in the mid 90s. I hope she enjoyed it, and continues to enjoy it. I also hope to do similar with my children when they’re at at that age.

That’s the same with a lot of hype in SEO circles. It’s the usual loud voices making a big deal out of it, but when you get down to the actual practicalities, not much changes. Not least because very little of it is conclusive in terms of w

to be fair to obama, let's not pretend he didn't have an army of super smart planners, strategists and analysts behind him in various corners of the pentagon, the CIA and the NSA that led him to that decision

Very rare I disagree with EFF but here I do. It’s long overdue.

Same. Except my 3 year old watches quite a bit of TV and I frequently use my phone in front of him (the latter I am working on, the former I am not too bothered about within reason)

My first ever job was a placement during university -- like a year in industry. It was a regular-joe IT support job at an eLearning company (if they still exist). The FD walked past me one day, having just left what was clearly a deeply unc

Just to update this thread and correct myself. The book is absolutely fine. The problem was we were using it at bedtime with dimmed bedroom lighting. When we turn the bedroom lights back on, the book works fine again!

Our copy kind of broke for no apparent reason. Light randomly flickers blue. Bit disappointed given the price and intended audience.

How do you train someone not to do stupid sh*t like that? What’s saying that employee didn’t go through H&S training? I get the legalities, it’s just a fringe case to the extreme, and conflation of that case to imply some wider problem.

I agree. I'd love to see more details on what the guy felt he was entitled to. I suspect there was a contract signed early on in their dealings that the author of this blog post is not being forthcoming with.
