I mean... Us humans have done that countless times in history. Cannons, Tanks, Nukes, Space... One thing history proves is that if one side can develop a next gen weapon that you can't defend against, your civilization ceases to exist.

it's wierd because where before, i've never had a offshore "VA" nor did I think they'd be useful. But after AI, I can just get the VA a subscription to Chatgpt and have them do the initial draft of whatever i need.

but think about that... If in the 70's they would have used the budget to build millions of homes. The moral there is tech progress does not always mean social progress.

Well... on shoring the hardware is kinda Cooks specialty. If anyone can do it, he can. From the service revenue perspective, you can simply play hardball. Threaten to pull out of markets and ensure it's locked in litigation, forever.

I essentially did the same thing... wrote a program, tried them all, went to emacs, back to a text file, then i started just writing down the 6 most important things for me to do that day. If i don't finish them, I write them back down

steve jobs was the innovator, steve cook is the supply chain guy. They started an electric car not because they thought it was a good idea, but because everyone was going to leave to Tesla or rivian if they didn't. They had no directio
