If you honestly understand how the internet works, _and_ are concerned about password security, how can you NOT be using a different password on every site? (or at least a throwaway password for accounts you don't care about) EDIT: I guess

I learned to program on my TI-83. Over the past few decades, computers have built more and more walls between typical users and programming, whereas on my calculator, it was right there... on a whim, I could, say, make a program to calculat

Hmm, I can't imagine this working very well for the iPhone with no background application support, unless it makes it into the real Maps application and they provide an option to broadcast while it's not running.

Looks like you need a license to import Modafinil into Canada, and can't get it without a prescription. (Schedule F Part 1). Can anyone that knows how these laws work confirm that? EDIT: Confirmed. See Section C.01.045 of http://www.hc-sc.

I strongly prefer light on dark, but hated pretty much every emacs theme I found. A couple days ago, I ported a friend's "IR Black" vim theme to emacs. I'm still not entirely happy with it, but: http://github.com/burke/color-theme-ir-black
