Looks like a cool product with the front-end integration but looking at the license, I can't understand how I'm supposed to use it when you use an Elastic license. While I understand Elastic's goal of preventing other compani

You can build low-code tools with Refine though. One of my side projects Jinjat ( https://jinjat.com ) uses Refine as the UI framework to render the data models that you have in your dbt project, as an example. Retool is an end-to

This is cool! I have been working on something similar as a side project as I believe that we need something similar to Streamlit but for SQL. I use dbt as the application framework so the approach is a combination of Jinja + SQL + YML file

I'm not really sure Github prioritizes the high availability anymore. These outages might be a way to motivate the customers switch to Github's self-hosted enterprise solution which is the revenue stream for Github. If they'r

Cool! How does it work in practice? Looking at the PR, it seems to pull all the data from Duckdb but is there any plan to apply the transformations (filter, aggregate that the user selected in UI) in Duckdb while rendering the chart?

This is pretty cool! It uses Vega transforms under the hood, right? The default backend uses JS for transformation which is slow for large datasets. Did you consider using Duckdb under the hood via WASM? I run into this project but not sure

Same as Jsonnet but it's only a small part of the picture. For someone who use JSON, I expect the adoption of CUE to be incremental but in reality I need to use CUE's own syntax to get the value out of it. Jsonnet was was closer t

The memory/disk is actually a huge difference for durability and a really important factor when making a decision to use a database. I believe it would be good to mention it in the benchmark for fair comparison.
