It’s a community project supported and sponsored by AMD according to their GitHub; https://github.com/lemonade-sdk/lemonade AMD employees work on it/have been making blog posts about it for a bit.

I long ago used arq backup with google drive as a target, and there’s something like 1-10 million little chunk files in that directory so it’s probably that…

I’m not intentionally discouraging it. The responses are affecting my impression of Microsoft and Github extremely negatively. I don’t think I am alone. It’s already pretty word salad legalese in my opinion, at least from Github.

Yes or No: Hypothetically I put customer data in a private repo, a single file. I use copilot to analyze the file, submitting its contents to that backend. This is the only thing in the repo. Is that data collected and trained on? If the an

There’s like 100 comments blaming raycast, they should just sue for damages lol.

Naively as a West Coast Verilog person, VHDL Delta cycles seem like a nice idea, but not what actual circuits are doing by default. The beauty and the terror of Verilog is the complete, unconstrained parallel nature of it’s default - it all

Yep, and it looks like they sold 26 at that price - which they did not. They sold 26 at 10x less or so.

I believe many sellers an eBay are illegally manipulating the market, and eBay is tacitly helping them by ignoring and removing feedback. For example this seller: https://www.ebay.com/str/disctechllc “Accidentally miss

Verilog to X compilers always bring me such joy. (There are several ones for Minecraft) I wonder with the new Timberborn 1.0 update with automation if there’s enough to build a computer from water gates…

IMO the really good ones want to do both, teach undergrads and get them enthusiastic about their research, win win. This what happened to me, with FPGAs & the LHC of all things, and is hugely responsible for where I ended up in my caree

Learned rotations for INT4 are cool! Seems similar to SpinQuant? https://arxiv.org/abs/2405.16406 In my personal opinion I don’t think the 1.58 bit work is going to make it into the mainstream. Not sure why you think f

You can even train in 4 & 8 bits with newer microscaled formats! From https://arxiv.org/pdf/2310.10537 to gpt-oss being trained (partially) natively in MXFP4 - https://huggingface.co/blog/Raksh

Fully agree, a hint should be at most about which subjects to focus on - and ideally that’s something they said in class too.
119.
by buildbot 7mo ago
For sure - I think my definition of an exam hint is more like, study these subjects or “yes, data structures of some kind will be tested, but don’t worry about sorting algorithms.” Not specific hints or answers, that’s obvious favoritism

With all empathy that sucks and is not fair - but should office hours be removed because one student could not attend? Many of the professors I have worked with that I respect have different methods for helping these students- for example s
