If you are looking for something that will run on even smaller embedded devices I highly recommend LittlevGL. I have used it to throw a UI on a few projects, and found it to be surprisingly easy to get going, and fairly responsive long as y

I actually really enjoyed it as a short illustrated story. If this was written as a formal NTY article, it would have been five sentences and not particularly memorable.

Normally I would agree, but I think they were referring to "bamboo kun" which is how the bamboo plant fights off fungi and was thought to provide some antimicrobial properties, although at least in textiles seems to be ineffective

Interesting I did not know about that. Seems like it is part of the git suite, but usually packed separately (Fedora it is the git-gui package) and requires gitk.

I really don't understand why you are blocking Sentry, it's for error/exception logging and makes the developers behind the product so much faster at fixing stange issues that you might run into.

Yes! I buy technical books here from the Seattle Goodwill "store". If you are in Seattle you can let them know you want to pick it up and they will refund you the shipping and you can usually pick it the next morning.

But the native library issue is what makes it hard for Python as well. A large part of conda existing is to help data science people not have to worry about compiling native libraries for numpy or whatever ML library they happen to be using

XAP2 you will still be allocating a 16bit value. So you if you create an array of 2 uint8 you will still be allocating 32bits of memory.

I guess it depends on what you mean by application processors. There are a lot of low cost Bluetooth chips out there that run the application logic of the device.

I wrote 16 when I meant 8bits. For this arch you cannot have 8 but types. Casting a int16_t* to char* won't let you access upper and lower bytes as most people would except (c standard does not define this behavior).

I find it interesting that they have the restriction that 'bytes' be 8 bit. The XAP2 architecture is likely the third most common by volume, and sizeof(int) == 1. I get that embedded systems are not the main focus of rust, but the

It's not uncommon at all to do AOI on all or a percentage of the PCBs. X-ray is more useful to identify solder issues or defects in the raw PCB itself.
