That's a great way of looking at it. Comparing model weights to our brains and how we process input, you could imagine model weights as a brain frozen at time t=0. The prompt tokens are the sensory input, and the generation parameters

Great reply, but don't forget to add Apple's bottom line to the balance beam of user risk and device functionality there

i understood your original comment :) totally agree that dismissing the content of a paper for its grammatical mistakes alone is foolish. this isn’t a paper about classic roman literature

DDG is absolutely affected by Bing price hikes. Because M$ has raised the price here, DDG has had to lower the quality of their service. This will shift a (small) portion of those DDG users to Bing (lol).

I’m guessing this works with GPT-4 if your API key has access to it. Is that correct? Going to check this out, currently I’m just using a CLI.

I'm using VScode edit: For context, I have a GPT-4 API key, so I'd like to do something like what Copilot X is, just obviously much worse and rough around the edges considering I'm rolling it myself

What I would like to know is what is the best way to integrate an LLM and its output into my IDE without paying for something like Github Copilot. Any ideas here?

Yeah, Karabiner seems to be unmatched in terms of customization for power users. The main problem with straight key remapping is that you have to deal with the application layer having different keybindings for the same actions, even when

Inferior? "Cloud-based models"? Not being reliant on a single entity is nice. I will accept not being on the bleeding edge of proprietary models and slower runs for the privacy and reliability of local execution.

Just a PSA if you use this software to update to 4.5.2 and consider using bittorrent software on a dedicated machine :)

While fentanyl is amazingly effective in a controlled environment like an operating room, it's not the only option at their disposal. I suppose if this vaccine took off and you got it, it'd be good to keep an electronic medical ID

This is an incredible opportunity to save lives. You need to familiarize yourself with accidental opioid overdose deaths. Most people who die from a fentanyl overdose were not intending to ingest fentanyl. Fentanyl is often used to boost th

Could you please share some resources/tactics for protecting your host machine from these development VMs? If I were to do this, I would want some assurances (never 100%) that my host is protected from the VM to the best of my ability.

I've used both Foobar and MusicBee (on Windows) and personally I prefer MusicBee's interface. It works well with my library of 21k files - not sure how it performs with libraries much larger. https://getmusicbee.com
