I agree with what you said even though it seems a bit outdated. I made a general statement looking at the evolution from 2005 until today. I switched employers many times, worked for small, medium and large companies. I got to interview a l

In reality culture fit means "do I like you or not?". To get disqualified on culture fit, all you need is one single interviewer that will not feel %100 comfortable working with you. You can get discriminated on anything really, i

It's not slowing down, the problem right now is that there are too many people applying at the same time. Look at the statistics on linkedin (I think you need a premium account though). It goes up to 500 applicants for one single engin

If I value knowledge in life, your question is not relevant. I use my time in order get as much knowledge as I can. Over learning something means acquiring more knowledge. What you should say instead is - I make use of my time by trying as

The feedback is not relevant at that stage ("not pick up your resume"). It is something like - not enough experience, we found a better candidate, we hired someone we know, not a great fit, etc. Feedback becomes relevant only when

Sure, you can practice and reflect on the previous interview in-between. Your level of concentration is so high during a technical interview, as soon as you disconnect you get a big drop. For an onsite for example, you go to 5-10 45 minutes

40 hours a week? I've done it in the past it's not realistic. If you schedule one interview per day, you'll burn out quickly. You need breaks in between to digest the previous interview.

Do not use third party recruiters! Do your homework and apply directly. It used to be a better way to get in... but in 2017 3rd party recruiters are more like backup plans in case a company doesn't receive enough Resumes.
