I think quick cameos are really doable right now. Leia was fin in Rogue One, but the more Tarkin appeared on screen, the more "off" he felt to me. The animators definitely made it across uncanny valley and most of the way up the o

I find myself doing most of my hobby programming in C. I think it kind of evokes the same thing other hobbyists(like wood working) get by building something from scratch even though there are easier ways to get close to the same end result.

Even if Amazon doesn't store all audio by default now, I would if it could become a thing(if it's not already) for law enforcement to basically get a warrant for Amazon(and Google and everyone else who gets into this space) to sto

I think Darktable fits the mold of a lot of other good free software in that it's well features and probably does what you need it too, but the proprietary equivalent(Lightroom in this case) is a more polished and easier to jump into,

As a potential backdoor with access to a computer with compromising the OS, how much is ME neutralized by just not using the integrated NIC and instead using a PCI-E or USB NIC?

I stay away from third party sellers on Amazon these days as much as possible(as in I'll look elsewhere and only come back to them if they're the only viable option) and Amazon had been getting a lot closer to regular retail for s

They use LSO around here for same day and it's been pretty unreliable. On the bright side I've gotten a few months of prime and about $100 in credit back.

I had it installed and running in a couple of minutes. The wait is what I remember being the worst on Windows. apt was quick and painless though.

Neat to see a Commodore comeback, that's actually doing the retro C64 thing and not just slapping Commodore logos on new computers or phones. I supposed the Amiga rights are too much of a mess to hope for much movement there.

Only 11 years. It seems like it was older. I guess it seems like such an idea of the late 90's internet, I just associate it with that era.
