That was the logic we used, bought an Explorer ST instead of a BMW since they've shown the desire to charge to unlock stuff already in the car. I'm sure Ford will do it at some point if it takes off but so far they haven't. N

Currently it's the washing machine that just ... doesn't work occasionally. Power is good to it, confirmed with an electrician but it won't turn on. Give it a bit and it works. Prior it was phones having software issues but t

fwiw, this appears to be a fork of a now missing repo, and I cannot speak to the cleanliness of the files but it's a decent sized dump of old bots and sources including AutoRune. Repo -- https://github.com/runescape-cla

That's an anecdote. I've also had shitty experiences with Samsung products. Maybe it's a mixed bag but I hear more bad than good without going out and looking for it.

Wow that happened fairly close by. Just outside Smithfield. We tend to just drive through briefly (the county) on our way to I-40 before heading off to the coast to visit my Dad.

They've also got an updated (reverse engineered?) HLDS DLL too. reHLDS I believe is what it's called. Been meaning to check what benefits/cons it brings for my own server.

I use my old GTX1060 for transcoding and it does a decent job. Upload speed could be another factor, as well as pointed out elsewhere making sure there is direct internet access to the Plex server so it doesn't use a middle server via

I've been doing this for 5+ years at this point. Your post reminds me that I need to finally, at some point, just build a new home server. This E3-1230v1 on DDR3 is getting a little old.

Agreed. I messed up filing last year due to not understanding how RSUs worked when I eventually sold some. They sent me a nice letter, told me what I owed and that was that. Paid it off and haven't heard anything since.

It's sketchy at best. Our newest car does emergency braking and that's it. And it's good at it, only engaging when there is a situation it feels (and is correct) about me not braking in time or hard enough. I shouldn't h

That's the point of assistance, it shouldn't need double checking by a human every time. It should just work.

Wow thanks for mentioning that. I was hugely in to RuneScape back in the early 2000s, but stopped around RS2. I still run a classic server from time to time so I can relive that. Kings Crooks looks really cool will definitely check that out

Dated info (2001/2002?) but there was Solaris use at the NSA around that time too. Seems like the military and associated organs like to use it.

I care very much about panel gaps. I can afford a Tesla won't risk buying it because that points to shitty QA.

Rain fade affects GPS does it not? Is the car relying on inertial navigation for a period? This rain is not something a camera and iffy GPS signal can keep you on the road. The intensity and amount of rain would definitely not let a camera

Not hurricane season at the time. There's a clearly defined season for that weather. This is just a normal thunderstorm.

Agreed, at some point it's just too much following a three year old around and cleaning up. We just tidy up his play room once a week and try to instill a bit of "keep it tidy" in him with some success.

I use Patroni behind HAProxy setup to automatically point to the new active host in the case of a failover. It's not a huge scale setup though so I'm sure there will be better ways or other input on this.

The rain can be no joke here. I've had to stop driving and pull over for the first time in my life after moving to NC. The rain was too heavy to see more than 10 feet or so.

I've used Waze since first getting a smart phone and continue using it. It got us from California to North Carolina, and does a great job when driving up north or down to Florida. Hopefully this doesn't get affected by this change
