Not being allowed to bring a raspberry pi to a mayoral inauguration is an incredibly weird thing to protest

Find it interesting that the section about LLM’s tells when using it for writing is absolutely littered with emdashes

I think encouraging people to enable E2EE is more realistic than asking everyone to throw out the Ring cams they’ve potentially spent hundreds on, yeah.

Might be a good time to enable E2EE on your Ring cams if you haven’t already: https://ring.com/support/articles/7e3lk/using-video-end-to-e...

Tried it. It was okay, felt very futuristic. But ultimately there weren’t really any benefits over just using a multi monitor setup that could justify the cost. I thought it’d be nice to have something I could also use for watching movies,

Fellow amateur bird-liker here. Usually when you ID a bird it’ll provide you with a boatload of other recordings you can compare against if you’re unsure.

I honestly don’t, although maybe that hype cycle was before my time. But this seems an unfair comparison. For one, I think 3D printing made me better, not worse, at engineering (back when mechanical engineering was my jam), as it allowed me

I’ve been meaning to build a unix shell deck for a while. There are so many tools that are so powerful but I just don’t use them regularly enough to remember how they work when I need them.

Not only is UPER hard to parse, but (I believe) 3GPP ASN1 definitions are provided only in .docx files which aren’t exactly the easiest to work with. It’s just really not a fun domain.

This is somewhat off topic, but are there any common uses for eBPF outside of observability/monitoring? Or is that kind of its whole thing?

I don’t disagree with you but I’m also not entirely sold on the idea that surveillance cameras alone are all that effective at tracking and identifying people. Think of the person that left two pipe bombs outside the RNC and DNC offices i

I’ve thought about it and you’re right, this was just confirmation bias on my part. There is in fact no evidence that DOGE is in any way involved. Apologies.
