I’m with you on point 1, (I think this is also obvious from experiment because you will never measure a particle at both slits). for point 2 it seems you can define a mapping from the physical space to probability space. Saying that the wav

Since you did not give the models a chance to test their code and correct any mistakes, I think a more accurate comparison would be if you compared them against you submitting answers without testing (or even running!) your code first

Hey this looks pretty amazing, congrats on the research. The article doesn’t seem to explain much though and the papers are pay-walled(?) so my question is how were these discovered only now and not noticed before?

Interesting you say that about HN, because reading this (and other) threads I have the opposite view: HN is devolving into Reddit-like nonsense.

The “accredited investor” thing always seemed like a scam to me. Like if you have a lot of money we will trust that you know how to invest, otherwise we won’t let you.

I think you have this reversed. The city was already giving out money to homeless and it led to a bunch of problems. Newsom proposed the opposite a “Care not cash” initiative where instead of receiving cash, homeless would receive services.

I'm not sure if this is the main point of the article (but it does at least mention it), a good intuitive visualization of how the sphere can be thought of as asymmetric is the Hairy Ball Theorem[0], which basically states: "you c

I remember one of the early "breakthroughs" for LLMs in chess was that if it could actually play legal moves(!) In all of these games are the models always playing legal moves? I don't think the article says. The fact that an

In retrospect it's baffling why Dems didn't hammer home this point more: Tariffs will increase prices.

Isnt the point of "sin taxes" to offset externalities? If the externalities decrease then so should the tax. If governments are looking for a steady source of income then "sin taxing" seems like the wrong approach.
