Wait why do the QR codes actually look like the video frames? I interpreted this as "convert the binary of an arbitrary file into a series of QR codes". Is that just a coincidence?

Sure, maybe that was the intent. But most of the objects I see in the linked video are cheap and mass-produced (a water bottle, some sticky notes, some plastic toys), which makes it feel totally different

Does Bevy have a graphical editor yet (or one on the roadmap)? It seems like it has good bones, but taking real territory away from Unity or Godot will be hard without an editor (not just for non-programmers; some game dev tasks are just wa

Fwiw, Rust's standard library has a cross-platform Simd abstraction: https://doc.rust-lang.org/std/simd/index.html It's nightly-only for now, but I've used it and it's lovely. I've added S

I'm not sure using deno compile as a way of deploying to a controlled environment has much benefit anyway. Unlike some other languages/runtimes, only a single system dependency is really needed (a new-enough deno installation) to

The Bluesky protocol doesn't really allow non-public posts (which is why blocking doesn't work the way some people would like it to, and why there can't be features like Circles) I believe Twitter does support paid private po

Yeah, the idea isn't that this type of code should never be tested but that it's a higher burden to test, and maybe less valuable to test, compared with other code. And that should be factored into the decision (and there should
