the hardware itself, not much. I don't like the magnetic latch on the 13" plastic macbook, it makes it annoying to open with one hand and occasionally when I'm closing it if my hand slips it slams down. I would also love bigger arrow keys.

if I want to meet up with someone, wouldn't I just give them an exact location? if the nearest landmark is 5 miles away I don't see how that would be useful.

which is a pretty progressive decision by music companies. it's like they're accepting that people will pirate music no matter what drm scheme or lawsuit wave they throw out there, so they're trying to find a way to live profitably with it.

why do you say years? wouldn't all the earliest employees be partially vested right now, and vesting more each month? and as long as the share price stays bubbly through the end of the lockup period they can cash out at/close to the top.

I guess I can see some value to the complete beginner, but I don't see the point of conferences dedicated to the topic (aside from the usual networking, vendor schwag, and food and travel paid for by your employer, of course)
