Just because the line isn't clear, and shifts depending on societal norms, that doesn't mean that it can just be ignored. If a radically conservative tech conference feels that attendees would fear for their safety around gay marr

It sounds like they found an advertisement for SpatialOS.

It's still an issue for any developers who use '>' instead of '~' or 'x'. That's quite a few.

I can't even tell if the article is satire. (I'm guessing it is, but this actually seems useful. Poe is tough.)

If vim-mode doesn't go quite far enough, make sure to try vim-mode-plus. Adreed, I miss %s pretty much every day. Also tabular.vim -- tried a few but haven't found an Atom equivalent yet.

My favorite is noticing something weird, opening the inspector, and figuring out the issue quick. Console expressions, breakpoints, etc... it's a powerful environment. (Of my other 2 editors, Vim is fairly difficult to figure out an

Is anybody making an effort to put the LXD environment on Centos 7? I'd really like to try it but all I have provisioned right now is Centos 7 (and below).

That's already underway. http://sf.curbed.com/maps/26-high-rise-projects-changing-san... It helps, but it's not enough units to make much of a dent in SF's housing shortage.

Yep! Prescribing drugs can be very lucrative. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2012/03/doctor-murder-... She made $5 million in 3 years. There are offices like this all over the US.

And how much of that is due to Theranos being a medical company? You need to play a clean game when lives are at stake.

How would you fake the terminal illness? That seems very difficult, especially at age 20.

"I no longer think about code lines as an asset to be accumulated, but rather as an expenditure to be avoided." Good quote. Took me until my 30s before I started realizing this myself. Seems obvious in retrospect.

Without SATA gitlab would be pretty painful. Agreed though, git-in-a-box would be great.

One more warning... Two years ago I was on a project that spec'd inexpensive transducers from China. We bought samples from multiple factories and they were all terrible. Datasheets were vague, and a lot of the transducers didn&#x27

Correct. If you're drunk in the driver's seat on a public roadway (say, street parking in front of a bar), you're breaking the law. Doesn't matter if the car is parked, or if the engine is even on. If you want to sleep

Yoga 900: retina screen, 16GB memory, core i7, 512GB ssd: $1400. That's pretty darned reasonable! Definitely tempting. Engadget's review says 9 hour battery life, cranky touchpad, and shrunken keyboard. Argh. C'mon Lenovo

Basically the same price as the Air, maxes out at 8GB. I keep hoping someone will just destroy Apple's offering, especially for a product as stale as the Air. One day. One worry: Linux still has some issues with retina screens, doesn

Your comparison is clumsy. US car makers didn't intentionally break the law to increase the amount of poison gas entering the environment. The GM ignition switch or Taketa air bag cases would be more apt.
