A "decorative" residential fireplace typically won't do much to provide real heat. If you want something that will make a difference it is usually going to be a sealed unit or something a little more purpose-built. Still, whe

The 3.5" drives had no practical disadvantages as compared to 5.25" drives, so the 5.25" units really declined in popularity and were EOL'd in most cases long before 3.5" drives disappeared. IIRC the interfaces and

I tend to doubt that happening soon. There are still a lot of logistical issues to drones flying around trying to deliver packages to the appropriate locations without a lot of live human supervision. IMO, this more opens up a potential mar

There are several options, search for "WS2811 LED String" for starters. I have used the same string (more or less) that OP shows in the video with ESP32's and/or Pixelblaze controllers for various projects.

That is hardly the summary. The "broken cable" is the last in a serious of maintenance issues that have gone unaddressed and piled up into making it impractical to repair at this point.

I understand your point, but in the lab scenarios we are theoretically using ideal(ish) conditions (or, at least what we think are ideal conditions). In the random nature scenario, probably 99% of all the instances would be immediately disc

IMO this is not a service to be used to make shippable product. It is basically an advanced reference design tool. They do the work of making all the right component connections and getting everything on a board so that you can focus on sof

Agreed, there is a "feel" to it in many cases. Starting to move something and feeling the machine shift or strain (indicating something might be stuck), or feeling that a load is possibly off balance, etc.

There have been plenty of alternatives for a while. Ambarella is the higher-end option, and Grain Media is one of the lower end options. I expect both of these companies (and others) to benefit from Huawei's loss here.
