I think you're spot on. I've noticed working with various people and ages that we get stuck in our beliefs. Their information is outdated and they haven't realized yet that screen readers and security are dated arguments. T

Anyone else notice that suddenly there are a dozen or so "Show HN" on the front page? I think this spurred a new way to hack your way to the top.

"Pivot" replaced with..."we don't know what we're doing." Open to suggestions. Not feeling clever today.

That's fair. If the change is too big or you can't agree on the changes, there's not much to do. It may have still been possible to do a big rework of Martini or even just deprecate Martini and move to Gin...idk. I just hat

Why didn't you just contribute to Martini and fix the parts that sucked? It just feels odd to me to re-invent a web framework, utilizing the same interfaces so it's the same to people who use it, yet it's a completely differ

You'll be down voted over nothing on this site. It's not worth defending.

I went through that madness when trying to figure out Hypermedia APIs. Supposedly you're not RESTful without hypermedia, but the whole thing seems crazy when you get into it. Perhaps, just as JSON became a more functional and popular

I'm 30 years old, and judging by the immaturity of HN comments these days I'm older than most of you n00bs. I like how your shitty comments don't get downvoted.

The irony of a hacker magazine relying on print distribution. Wouldn't a 1337 4axx0r figure out something with mobile apps, websites, ads, etc?

I got downvoted -12 a few weeks ago for saying that an article mentioning John Regehr was the professor from the University of Utah that I respected. What the fuck is that? This website is overrun with nerds with small egos.

Alright, I'm fucking done with HN comments. So damn tired of being down-voted over nothing. It's like a hive of 5 year olds.

Adding a credit card type dropdown seems unnecessary. There are standard number patterns for each card provider, and making users select one is silly since cc gateways don't typically ask (they use the number patterns). I'd like

Yeah, except Verizon is notably more expensive than the other networks, particularly T-Mobile. Verizon tacks on random fees into your bill that have no explanation. I would rather push T-Mobile to fix this issue than move to Verizon under
