Exceptional teachers work more, and provide much more for their students. However the vast majority of teachers are not exceptional. As a thought exam think about what are they doing off the clock? Most likely grading or setting exams. T

Thanks, wiki continues to provide detailed information in the deep links on the page. It seems we are witnessing a case of failure upon failure. Truly a horrific tragedy for the country and the world.

To answer my own question, Fukushima is a first generation bwr: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boiling_Water_Reactor It lacks the safety mechanisms of an abwr. Namely even after the control rods are deployed, heat can continue to build up.

Why not? The pay is lower than Google, equity is below that of Facebook and rather meager, it doesn't provide the freedom of a startup, and 80 percent of the job is navigating politics. I have my list of why it's a great place to work, but

One thing not taken into account in this discussion is the natural limitation of career growth. Everyone has a cap on their advancement. Some devs hit that cap after 4 years, some after ten. But a smaller and smaller percentage of employ

Verizon iPhone owners are buying very few apps relative to other iPhone owners. This also seems unlikely. I would like to see more data to address this question. Especially interesting would be data form anyone delivering a free ios app.

There's an excellent quote from the Korean file "My Sassy Girl" about this. To paraphrase, "Never tell a child he's smart, after a while he'll begin to believe it and start to get lazy."
