If anyone uses Calibre, here is a Calibre HN recipe I have made. It looks pretty good on Kindle Paperwhite, but I have not tested it anywhere else: https://github.com/brendoncrawford-org/calibre_recipes/blob/

This seems to assume that a developer necessarily hits an MVP in PHP faster than in other languages. This might be true when comparing with the tooling/dependency nightmares of JS/NPM, but a half decent Python dev can get a Flask

I have been working at a standup desk for about the last 10 years. To combat fatigue, I add a walk around the room every 20 minutes. This system has mostly eliminated all aches and pains for me.

In contrast to that, in Los Angeles, Uber drivers quite often are not familiar with the area they serve, so they are glued to their navigation apps. This can not only create unsafe driving conditions, but sometimes can cause an Uber ride t

I am sure there were also people who opposed asbestos for home construction. We don't sit here with our hindsight telescopes and call them fearful simpletons . This article suffers from a survivor and confirmation bias.

I have not checked lately, but there have been two major features lacking in Linode that have compelled me to move away to AWS: 1. Managed firewall service, such as AWS Security Groups. I really do not want to have to manage hundreds of ip

Great work here. Is this primarily focused on physical meetings, or is it in any way also optimized for remote/teleconference meetings?

Redshift is great for some use cases, and completely unsuitable for others. If testing the waters with Postgres is your objective, Redshift will not be a good representation.

Yeah, arm and shoulder fatigue is definitely an issue at first. After about 2 - 3 months the muscles develop, so it is no longer an issue.
