My first "home" computer (a home-built COSMAC Elf) had 256 bytes of static RAM (in two DIPs). No DRAM at all. I don't think Radio Shack even sold DRAM.

Would it? Or is it undefined? No C++ runtime I know of will generate a new, different vtbl just to switch it out when invoking the non-owning base class destructor on an object. Nor am I familiar with any part of the C++ stnadrd that mandat

Non-productive activity time is a Good Thing that improves everybody's life when done in moderation. At least Factorio is generally better than drinking, doomscrolling, or gambling in terms of social responsibility.

Every wood-paneled Canadian rec room in the 1970s had a crokinole game set up right beside the rod hockey table and maybe the stacks of empty two-four cases. Just thinking about it brings back the smell memory of stale beer and cigarettes m

Coca tea is ubiquitous in Peru. Morning, noon, and night. It's on a par with mate or green tea in other parts of the world. Mostly harmless. The leaves are readily available everywhere, like right beside the chewing gum at the checkout

Don't forget you need a balun to convert the RF from the coax output to the parallel-pair antenna input. Of course, the antenna input was already in use by the rabbit ears so you have to double up.

Holy cow, don't look for recipes on the web. If you're luck any ingredients and instructions are only 2/3 through. More often 23 pages through.
