By Apple OCR, I mean instead of calling an external cloud API which requires tokens, etc. I simply mean vision which runs on OSX. It can be done in about 30 lines of Swift code.

A few questions: Does this work in headless mode? Are you getting a screenshot of the whole webpage including scrolling? Or just the visible part. The whole page, like singlepage.js would be great and is much more useful in many circumstanc

Yes. But I didn't realize that 43% of the words in that dictionary contain "'s". In that case, the probability that, for 3 collisions, there is at least one element in every collision contains "'s" is 31%.

1) it doesn’t appear search links are shareable or have the query terms are in it 2) are you embedding the search phrases word by word? And using the same model as the documents used? Because I searched for „lead generation“ which any decen

From a quick glance, it appears that it's because the implementation pushes the entire graph (all edges) to the GPU. Sampling of edges during training could alleviate this.

I'm surprised the author, given the thoughtfulness of much of the post, didn't decide to model tech debt, since then accumulated debt would be quantified frequently (if inaccurately). Especially since they are optimizing for value

I wonder if, instead of just predicting the next n tokens, it could also predict like 128, 512, 2048 etc tokens ahead. Thus learning long-term discourse structure.

Thank you. If you want to contribute novel research, a thorough literature search of prior work is essential. And hopefully a comparison to previous approaches. If you didn't find these works in your literature search, I encourage you

There's a lot to unpack here and a lot of nuance that is getting missed in the discussion. I've learned a similar thing over my years, so I'll share: The pressure to do something amazing or uniquely is very very real. This ca

And just to contribute to the discussion in a meaningful way: The problem with text-to-music isn't really that text is a poor UX for music description, but also that it's almost definitely a one-shot process. And any sort of turn-

Sorry, where did we all get the idea that we want to use text to generate music? That thought really has never entered my head, despite many people trying to shove this UX down my throat. Is it just that we don't have creative thinking

This is wrong, or misleading at best. It's a known difficult open problem to create a good audio representation (feature vector). Good, in the case of LSH, would be that representation distance correlates well with human perception. F

I have another explanation. LLMs are essentially trained on "A B", i.e. is it plausible that B follows A. There's simply a much larger space of possibilities for shorter completions, A B1, A B2, etc. that are plausible. Like
