Apple map sucks on non-MacOS... no idea why DDG chose them unless its prep for acquisition. you can use CTRL+MouseWheel to zoom in/out.

Unless I missed something, their plans start at $25mo (annual billing) with min of 20 users, maybe in same space but not very appetizing to get your feet wet. but i'm sure their pricing is designed with that in mind.

Why not argue that because the external contractors in china are using an illegal copy, therefore there is no client that paid a license to use the software, and that DDC (software maker) should be able to assume the copyright of the output

most police, especially in smaller areas, don't have the people on hand or on call to explain all this "techy" stuff to the people who make these decisions OR those people choose to ignore them... it seems like it takes 10+ y

about 3 years ago we switched to desk.com and have been very happy with it. there are a few things we would like them to fix/upgrade but mostly it gets the job done and doesn't cost us a lot.

Yes but statutory damages will not be available and according to our lawyer. The statutory damages is what gets people to comply because it is the one that can multiply exponentially as it applies to EACH violation (download, sale, ect...).

I hardly even understand FPGA's but I don't think TI's newest tech will obsolete it. Intel just purchased Altera for $16.7B and I've already seen them release updates to their line including fabrication on 14nm or less.

supposedly, from what I have heard, it is a new browser with no legacy code base. And possibly that old IE plugins still work (not entirely sure on this last part).
