I don’t think many people write light reading on the topic of unionization. That said, you should be able to find plenty of modern material on class, law and labor. If all else fails, read some classic sociology.

I only learned of the flaws in the amyloid hypothesis a few weeks ago. The single most influential thing I read was this. [0] https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4207354/

Disappointed in the lack of discussion of R-Shiny or Plumber. R-Shiny is a full stack platform for web apps, and it’s how I leveraged my data science background to get into web development. It’s incredibly powerful in my opinion, with the o

Even if you don’t find yourself reading biomedical research on a frequent basis, you should expose yourself to PubMed just to see how much care went into its development. Seriously, PubMed is one of my favorite websites for its simplicity,

I don’t think this is how it works. I haven’t played with the API but I’ve dug around a bit in the source for the Spotify client. More likely, it’s by sending a stream of data or otherwise its sending encrypted chunks for which Spotify has

Of the research I’ve read, many scientists suggest that it’s the accumulation of plaques that cause Alzheimer’s.[0] There’s uncertainty as to what protein is responsible for the degenerative effects.[1] My bias exists for the fact that I be

Sorry, that was poorly presented on my part. I believe the most recent estimate was around 2-3% of all internet traffic was served on a web server being hosted by Amazon. I can’t find the original source, but this Quora post[0] and included

I’m skeptical, though I must admit that I’m not a subject matter expert. The disruption of serotonergic pathways probably isn’t something that can be amended by a serotonergic therapy. I’d actually predict that individuals with Alzheimer’s

Just looking at the numbers in the title, I assumed this article was going to be about AWS. The numbers are roughly 35% of commercial cloud market share and something like 5% of all websites. (The actual numbers are 1-3% less) But in light

It’s to the point where I can’t blame Amazon for actions like these. The consumer has come to expect guaranteed overnight or 2 day shipping. When they don’t get that, they get really upset. Amazon doesn’t want its customers to get upset, an

To clarify, in many cases it’s actually states declaring Uber/Lyft as employment. They’ve managed to stay legally bound to the terms of hiring ‘contractors’ but states like CA are putting an end to this.

This article’s a couple months old, so it misses what I think is going to be a lot more definitive against Uber/Lyft. That is, workers are starting to successfully unionize. Both companies have delayed it as long as possible, but it’
