IMHO most charity work is kind of scam anyways. Sure you've got some proportion really out there doing good and helping desperate people, but most of them seem like ego trips and tax scams for rich people. In most cases, at least in de

The ability to prove after the fact that you were a certain distance away won't stop you from being arrested and dragged to jail, which is probably the point. For a low level crime, by the time you are standing in front of judge with a

Yeah just coming here to say this. Multiple disk failures are pretty probable. I've had batches of both disks and SSDs with sequential serial numbers, subjected to the same workloads, all fail within the same ~24 hour periods.

I worked the front desk at a small brick and motor IT shop as one of my first jobs. One of my main tasks was rebuffing all the door to door salesmen and telemarketers as well as dumping all the mailers directly into the trash. Which is all

I've previously used an Arduino mega as an ad hoc logic analyzer. Can anyone chime in with how the IO performance of the RP2040 differs from the ATMega range? I'm an amateur so can't really justify a real logic analyzer, but

If you go off Wikipedia's definition, it's more about user generated content and HN is definitely that. Might not meet your definition of web 2.0, but it meets this one: >A Web 2.0 website allows users to interact and collabora
