AI trained on real time data will always and only get dumber over time. Reversion to mean of human IQ. just like every web forum ever. Eternal September. That’s why gen 1-3 AI felt so smart. It was trained on the best curated human knowledg

Photo printer in the second study anyone can connect to and a 100+ stack of photo paper and some photo album holders. Done. I lose no sleep. The funnest part of coming home is what everyone prints when we get back.

It’s a controllable camera traversing a 3D world. Notice we didn’t see the cat go behind the couch. Maladaptive cut. They also don’t mention that the longer it runs over around 15 seconds the more hallucination until it’s a garbled mess.

Dude has no storage and no backups on phone. He is one icon refresh from losing it all. Endless restart loop. No recovery possible, even with a second iPhone and mac. It’s a known bug for years.

If an AI aims at the thing we call it hallucinations, when humans do it we call the delusion goal setting. Either way it is an imagined end point that has no bearing in known reality.

The problem isn’t scale. The problem is consequences (lack of). Doing this should get you barred from research. It won’t.

Just imagine when we have quantum computing. Unlimited context windows, instant answers. What would you make if you could make anything? Does it all just lose meaning?

Without being able to experience the world as another the existence of aphantasia can’t even be confirmed. The myth that everyone, or even anyone, can imagine anything, and is doing so regularly, has no basis, yet is the only cited basis of

This is not true. The player can turn a profit, it’s just the probability of that tends closer to house advantage as they play more. Which is why the optimal play is usually to bet it all on the first play. Then walk away, win or lose.
