Sad that we're starting to see more spam on Hacker News, usually it's concealed by a 'somewhat' real looking blogpost but not here, flagged.

Great story, another example of a YC success. One thing, i've never got Wufoo. I don't think they're providing a better solution in comparison to Google Docs and PollDaddy, far from a perfect market but I think certain things make the proce

I'm in High School and regularly go to bed later than 3 because of the points you raised. F.lux has also made my life much better. I love to wake up early, that's my other problem. I hate to sleep in and waste time.

The core issue here is the pricing change wasn't just about making more money, the main reason was Netflix had to pay a lot of money for users with Streaming included but had never used it. As they had to say in the licensing "x amount of u

This is more of a startup response than web design specifically. I'm 17, been working on projects for a few years now. The barrier to entry on the internet is low these days, which is great as it means anyone. Not just teens but maybe someo

Can't wait to get this. Got to see the startups at Lean Startup Machine London on Sunday and was interesting to see them follow the lean startup culture.

Aren't http://Console.fm doing this with genres and other features? What does this do that's different? Are the playlists based upon anything?

Sadly my situation is worse. 3am is probably average. I think I need to be more strict with time management on projects and also just go to sleep and maybe get up earlier, before school.

I'm 17 and I get between 3 and 7 usually on weekdays, which my body has adapted to do over time. Probably rather unhealthy. On the weekends I get much more. I'm most productive in the early hours of the morning which is why i've turned out

These charts seems highly misleading. Why not list Safari instead of iPhone and iPod Touch, no reference to iPad either. As they list Opera as one, which includes hundreds of devices, while Safari is split up? Even though the iPod Touch and

I seemed to remember reading somewhere that Microsoft weren't going to take a cut, as an anti Apple move. Guess I was mistaken or they incorrectly wrote this. Makes sense. Although Metro apps are HTML5 right? So is this not like the Chrome

I love Posterous as a blogging platform and totally understand why they'd want to expand to a wider audience. But I just hope they don't get rid of the old experience. I don't understand why the service isn't just called Posterous with a Sp

If you want to work at one of the best startups you have to do more than apply. You should try and pick a strategic place, such as the valley or NYC and attend lots of events there and visit startups. When asked what you're working on you c

Seems very bias to the Australian audience as they were comparing global incubators. I see no evidence that these two Australian incubators are better than 500Startups and Seedcamp.

Making $10 of ad revenue is actually very good for a small blog. People don't just do these things to become millionaires but for a mix of recognition and for fun. Doing things for fun is still very prolific...
