I agree, it's written as if the iPhone 4S was developed since Steve left, when in reality he would have been a major cog in the device. Tim Cook has done so much, he was CEO of Apple while steve was away before and the company was fine. Rel

Just having a Hacker News meetup has helped London a lot i'd say, it's helped me find like minded people as I found there were a lot of 'old business' and finance folks going to the events that weren't designed for what they wanted to do in

Samsung previously said they would try this the moment it was released so far from a surprise. Big waste in time and money.

I showed my friends the iPhone 4S today without mentioning how some people online are disappointed and they loved it, they aren't geeks and were part of the group that said the iPad was useless and just a big iPod. Most of the UK news outle

Great way to put it, definitely not next generation but that wasn't to be expected. I don't know why it was a shock to many. I still plan to get it as i'd like to switch back to iOS. I felt the iPod's didn't fit in at all, they could have j

Right, what I thought. Personally it was just the structure for me. A lot of time spent on small features, not sure why iPods were included either.

If you're a single co-founder you'll likely be set up with one or someone from another startup (if they fail). Of course getting in is much harder as a single founder. So be honest, are you open to having a co-founder? mention it.

I would say if you're going for a pro then go for the 15" MBP, you get the full resolution display which is great for design and feels much more comfortable. I'm using one now. Especially the trackpad and screen size. On the 13" i'd go with

Thanks for writing this. Glad you've cleared up some of the questions I hear a lot. I've seen a lot of posts which claim to have some kind of template to get in, which doesn't make any sense in my opinion.

PhoneGap and Typekit in one day? Two services I love. I see the TypeKit purchase but not exactly this. Because it's well out of what Adobe does, I envision them turning it into some kind of full premium application which would really deter

I want Stripe for my startup. Paypal has caused huge problems for us, as we sell in 24 hour periods we get an influx in sales and our Paypal is constantly locked for a few days meaning we can't pay any merchants and it all becomes a lot of

I've spent 2 weeks coming up with a name as for me having a good name is important. It's not number one but I know that good names exist so I put the effort in and go through hundreds of names. Using every tool out there before I usually co

Why not continue what did you do to market it? There's lots you could do which is slightly different to normal techniques. I think you need to try something new and if all fails continue with this plan of action. When you're ready to give u

This really is amazing news, Eric is leading this movement. The Lean startup is influencing every part of this 'industry' if you can call it that considering how broad startups can be.

I think it's selling via ebay and not a regular domain/site selling marketplace as it would be sold for much less. I don't see how it's worth nearly 10,000 when before Facebook ate their lunch it made $50 a month.
