I'm not familiar enough with iOS, does Apple still allow apps to use a different web view that the filters do not apply to? If so is there any reason they shouldn't require Safari View Controllers for App Store submission?

It does have lower power requirements though - so it seems like they could have made it somewhat smaller but decided not to?

I had some fun digging through the PowerVR Series 1 source code [0] that was released earlier in the year. It includes a simulator that you can use to piece together how the hardware itself worked, some of it certainly looks like a rough tr

Agreed. The Morrowind screenshots at least also seem to have geometry that just doesn't exist in the original game?

On the flip side, 6xA78 cores with decent range of IO (7 PCIe 3 lanes for example) is quite nice. There aren't many SoCs that individuals can really use that are comparable.

Isn't this just the "yet you participate in society" meme? We all can and should attempt to reduce our impact, that might mean we don't own a car, or we fly less frequently and take trains instead, perhaps even just work

I'm pretty sure this - https://api.weather.gc.ca/ - is what you're looking for. It looks like they expose lots of data via an API, including the 7 day forecast. For example this should be the Vancouver forecast -

I guess you're referring to traffic calming? I'm not sure what Seattle has done but you don't necessarily need to totally redesign streets for that. Things like speed bumps or islands can be added so reduce the speed that dri

I found it kind of a pain to keep the Firefox extension connected. Additionally, I never found a solution for sync I was happy with - I had settled on OneDrive and there is an open source OneDrive sync client for Linux, but I had a couple i
