I'd love to see a discussion around data breaches with the use of public records laws. There's a huge lack of responsibility and auditing around it, which lead to large batches of information being wrongly released to the public.

If you're still interested in doing research, you could potentially do a foia request for the communications of the people involved in redaction.

Yep, I've seen this happen before when an old boss let a formally dressed, very attractive pen tester through the front door. It became somewhat of a joke afterwards, but at the time, the auditors involved took it very seriously.

I'm not sure what the specifics would be, but it would very likely be related to the emails that contained ongoing FBI investigations. (Which, for the record, is deleted and unshared.)

Good sauce. FOIA has been somewhat of an obsession of mine for a few years now and I can't recommend its use enough. It's difficult, full of legal and non-legal gotchas from front to back in every state I've sent requests to,

I truly do not trust Braintree as a secure payment service. As a company, they host an asinine number of public events at their 100+ person meeting hall at Chicago's Merchandise Mart. To get to that hall, you have to walk about 200ft p

Possible explanation for typing "google" instead of "google.com" - it's because autocomplete makes typing out the full URL unnecessary. I'd be willing to bet the students were running on muscle memory.
