First of all, congratulations on publishing your app! I’ve never come close to that, although having created a few PoC’s. On my 11 Pro the animations are sluggish, buttons presses are missed when switching from plan to browse and the device

This! People mistake the offset for the timezone, which is incorrect. The offset isn't very useful other than a guestimate of the originating timezone.

In C, strings are nul terminated. Thus when at some point your password is passed along a tool written in C (or any language with the same behaviour) it’ll be truncated at that position.

The only thing that didn't appear to work for me was the code selection. It would only allow selecting the whole code block, and not toggle to allow selecting only a portion. Other than that the animations appeared fine to me as well.

What is git doing with the system’s spell checker? This is the first time I’ve read about git using a spell checker. I know that various gui clients do spell checking, but I’m not aware of git itself doing anything related to this.

Except they didn't and recently unveiled this 13" MacBook Pro with M2 chip: https://www.apple.com/macbook-pro-13/ . Granted it's not the 14"/16" model, but still a touch bar on a new model.

“Free” means paid through your contract though, so that doesn’t really add anything to your point.

This is exactly my issue with stalebot and I think it is a great disservice to the community. Closing issues without a maintainer looking at the issue is bad. I expect at least some triaging from the maintainer before the stalebot comes in

A system I work on chose to use [closed, closed] intervals for date time intervals, where multiple intervals should be adjacent, but not overlapping. So the intervals look like 2022-11-22T00:00:00.000Z - 2022-11-22T23:59:59.999Z. Of course

That’s for creating an enumerable of discrete integers, not for defining an interval.

Read the “learn more” to learn more. (I had the same question.) First create an account and then setup the passkey.

Being delisted is not the same as unable to install. You can still download previous purchases, even when the app was delisted.

Year 0 doesn’t exist [1], and I wouldn’t regard years as being indexed. How would you represent 1 BC, with a negative index? [1] https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Year_zero

That’s not CoreFoundation, a C library, but a Swift reimplementation of that library, only to be consumed by Swift (import Foundation).

Maybe we can then also post actual desired speed limits? Current limits at various places I drive by already incorporate speeding and are thus lower than the actual desired limit.

Even though it is mentioned in the article, it deserves more than just mention. I find the Async LINQ extensions somewhat lacking. I need to have IAsyncEnumerable all the way down: returning an array in `SelectMany` is not possible. Sometim

Ok fair enough, but the mindset is spreading: json (javascript) parsing is what caused GTA Online loading times to balloon and I dread playing Call of Duty online as it wants to download and install dozens of GBs every time I launch it.

And things are slow as we waste all that processing power on running javascript one way or another. And everything requires a slow blocking connection to the mainframe. Nowadays the “always connected” mindset is really slowing us down.

My first (2011?) MBP had very sturdy Thunderbolt connectors, and dongles wouldn’t suddenly fall out. The lauded 2015 model I had had very loose connectors with the problem you’re describing. Strange design change IMO.
