It seems pretty unreasonable to tie together stock buybacks and employee stock compensation. The reality is that companies using stock for employee incentives will necessarily have to create new shares fairly regularly. Buying back shares a

It's generally pretty easy in most frameworks to plug in to all XHR requests (see e.g. jquery's ajaxPrefilter). Then you can simply add a CSRF token to the header of every request (or possibly your authentication details directly)

Cappuccino has been around since 2008 :) And although at this point it has not much in common, Ember is the direct ancestor of a project from the same time.

ActiveMerchant's entire purpose is about abstracting all the different payment gateways into one API. If you know for sure you're going to use Stripe, or if you want to use Stripe specific features (of which there are quite a lot

Yeah, we specifically designed this setup with your situation in mind. As the author of a library, you can specify the version you want to use. So your code will work on any account, regardless of what that account's version is set to.

Interesting. I actually ended up not using react-async, because we were trying to manage all the data at the top level, but I'm not entirely convinced that's the way to go (at least not for every app). I just started playing aroun

With the right set of abstractions, you can use an API to get data from the client side, and a direct local database lookup (or cache here, or whatever) on the server. This is, of course, a bit more difficult than the simplest version, and

The issue is more likely the timing of the data arrival than just because render is being called multiple times. It would be pretty easy to fix. I actually have been really pleased with the combination of a few related react packages (mostl

This may interest you: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/25/upshot/parks-and-recreatio... The city of San Francisco claims they will get at least twice as much use out of the turf than grass.

It certainly serves some purpose to map your runs even for less serious runners. It would also be cool to have music without being tethered to the phone.

I think the point is that lots of runners would prefer not to bring their phone if that was an option and this watch could have enabled that. It's a legitimate (minor) annoyance to carry your phone while running.

When Webvan was raising money valued at $1 billion would it have been wise to predict that it would "stop very soon"? Anecdotes are not market principles.

San Francisco had real time information about a large percentage of it's parking spots and it was available as an API. Apparently, though, this is no longer the case: http://sfpark.org/how-it-works/open-data-page&#
