I’ve been experimenting with this on the side for fun. Langchain is not my favorite, so I just wrote my own abstractions. I hosted a neo4j graph database and extracted entities from the input data. You can do this with spaCy or LLM. I then

My wife got a PhD by age 28 with over 20 science publications, didn’t stress at all during the time really. She traveled the world during that time and we live a pretty chill life. Met lots of friends during that time too. Don’t purely list

AI noob, but instead of training and fine tuning the LLM itself, don’t more specific and targeted embeddings paired with the model help alleviate the hallucination where you incorporate semantic search context with the question?

Neat but also… why not Cloudflare R2? An already fast and durable state store compatible with TF?

can you elaborate on the execution failures? If you’re referring to single pages taking too long and wanting to chunk the processing of a single page, consider cloudflare durable objects as a coordination point for a url. You can paralleliz

I’m new to RAG, but have been learning about it lately for fun and it’s pretty incredible as a concept. What are your thoughts around these frameworks like llama index and langchain? Being a seasoned engineer, it seems like a ridiculous amo

Did this for several months. People over talk about how hard it is with no experience doing it. Honestly, it’s a piece of cake. The downside is that it’s time consuming because like any system, you must maintain and update it. I self hosted

Anything you can do at the network level that can MITM in 2024 for TLS without the client needing a custom cert? I assume no, but curious anyway

It might sound humorous, but I’m not 10x programmer. An educational lexer and interpreter is something you can study and implement in 2 weekends. Assemblers are very very small amounts of code that spit out predefined binary from already ma

To add onto this list (unless I missed it), I would recommend interpreter, compiler and assembler. An interpreter is a fun way to learn a new language and can be done creatively and artistically which allows you to exercise the art of progr
