Nah they have two sites now. Ontario and TVA. Timing with the executive order from last week means it might go forward. The price per installed MW might melt your mind though.

How much are you valuing your own time? Theres money cost, then theres time cost and the final one is in more remote communities with cold weather… insurance costs on failure… Also to be clear - good on you for building out rural off grid

Fair -- insurance instead of bet is probably a more realistic way to frame it. I like the optimistic approach that it was a bet on it ushering a lot of collective upside for all parties involved.

Is it me or does this article feels like its left over from the last decade? That era feels over and I'm guessing those programs cost more money then they made - they were bets in zirp era…

Good luck ever winning that one. How are you going to prove out a data leak with an AI model without deploying excessive amounts of legal spend? You might be talking about small tech companies that have no other options.

If he's (Sam) trading equity on a grossly inflated OpenAI for the acquisition then he's likely not paying real money for the company and thus he is expanding his roadmap for cheap.

Most companies are like that. Look at their core competency and how much room that market has to grow. It's definitely the exception for company to go into a completely different vertical and excel there.

I mean media was never fair. Started out with corporate interests at heart in the early days - only kicked off fairness in the 60s i believe.

"I talk to, that solar installations are booming right now" -- where are you located? Rezi installs used to be a 30% year over year growth market. Last year growth went negative... this year is going to be significantly worse.

Solar actually runs into inverter problems by year 10. Roof needs to be redone maybe year 20 if you installed with a new roof. The back up generator is really compared against the energy storage asset and not the solar array. On a multi-d
