As another reply has stated, losing some intelligence is not so terrifying. Alzheimer's is. I've seen it up close over its course twice. It's as bad as people imagine. You never forget the sound of someone drowning in their o

Is there a way to verify this? I tend to agree, but I have no way to be rigorously convinced. For example, iirc Palestine health authority reports the names of all the civilians[0] that have been killed. I think the number is something like

He’s not. I am. The wealth of a nation is the goods and services available to its common people. We’ve shifted a lot of economic measures so that we’re really just paying attention to the value of assets as opposed to what they represent. A

People make a similar defense of Paramount's Halo. >An emotionless supersoldier mary sue? It would never work as a TV series, we need to explore the spartans' emotions! And so we get some garbage that misses what was beloved by

Yeah I feel this. I just watched Prisoners for the first time and didn't realize it was Villanueve. It felt like a much more impactful and 'whole' film than Dune Part One.

I disagree, I loved Dune. Messiah was a little hard to follow, but Dune was ace. It felt like part one sanded off all the interesting bits and gave us a really generic brutalist aesthetic scifi.

I have a large tattoo I thought was the coolest think when I was 20, and then for the next 10 years. At 32 I changed my mind and (gently) wish I didn't have it. It doesn't bother me a lot though.

I think he means the companies should emphasize that prices can go down too. Like 'get a burger, fries and shake for $0.75 at off times!' My guess is they had no plans to do the low part of dynamic pricing though.
