Perhaps we should be shooting for generality in the implementation - i.e. a well factored, flexible code base that models the domain well and supports a high level of reuse (and is written in Haskell :-D). Coupled with specificity in the so

A government in thrall to the "big food" lobby is the last place I'd go for dietary advice. I'm not just talking about the US government here - but almost all western governments have got it wrong on nutrition for the la

Yes, but I have moved to doing most stuff in sandboxes now and cabal repl is not playing nice with profiling at the moment.

How much interest would there be in a 0 to full Haskell development environment set of ansible scripts (and or Vagrantfile)? I'm working on a start up using Haskell at the moment and I've been capturing all of my set up in this wa

Is that in the international schools or local? We are thinking of moving our family back to Indo and one concern is the education... Actually compared to the likely quality in the UK we probably have nothing to worry about!

A good alternative is tabata [1] sessions on the rower. 20 seconds as hard as you can 10 seconds very gentle (just to keep the timer going). Do it 8 times for a total of 4 minutes - it starts to get pretty grim around the 4th sprint. It

This is me too. I wouldn't be surprised if it's mostly a case of being praised for ability rather than effort. Apparently this creates an environment of fear of failure and a sort of "if I don't try it doesn't matte

Yeah, I got bitten by that too. There's a list kicking round of all the individual packages required to install to make a haskell-platform-alike. If you want I can dig it out of my ansible config.

This is brilliant news! Would it be possible to drop a cross compiled Haskell library into a Xamarin project and call into it from the .Net (F#) world? That would be the killer feature for me! Also not much mention of android here - is it p

Anyone got any examples of setting up a set of services on a docker host with ansible? It would also seem feasible to use docker files ontop of a minimal image that used ansible with a local connection to do the set up... Anyone doing this?
