These all sound like convenience factors. I don't see why my identity with one provider has to be tied with my identity from another provider at all. Having a crypto wallet (for this purpose) is just certificates with extra steps (quit

I was not accusing you of ill behaviour. That's why I said "good." I thought you were making a subtle joke and it generated a lot of discussion which is what good trolls do. I was trying to be friendly because the alternative

I had a scanner that became much more stable running on a Mac OS 9 machine than a Windows machine simply because the scanning software could "hang" the mac and monopolize the SCSI port with exact timing.

It's supposed to only happen when you're running from them (though I think it shouldn't happen then either), but the reality is they will do it if they feel like it. The only thing stopping them is physics. Police are general

It might not, but the behaviour would be the same, so the effect is achieved.

Why would you not want the additional protection if you have to pick a colour to make the room anyways?

Anything UV sensitive is usually done in a yellow room, so that's probably it. I know this is exactly the case for PCB manufacture and printing press plate making to lessen accidental exposure, so it's exactly like a red safelight

Could this have anything to do with how FairPlay DRM was implemented on iTunes Store purchased tracks back when it existed?

There's pretty much nowhere to host your repo now that bitbucket gave up (and outright /deleted/ all hg repos which was criminal, but that's besides the point) The big three I know of (github, gitlab, bitbucket) are all

I'm not sure what particularly you mean about this article since it seems a lot easier than webdev to me. Javascript devops and Webpack in particular drive me up the wall. Qt is usually click-button-receive-EXE (when using an IDE, othe

Unfortunately doing anything other than 35mm brings a massive jump in price, so I think it's here to stay for a long time. I loved doing medium format/120, but it's absolutely cost prohibitive. Minilabs scanning before it

Every time I've tried it it's been an absolutely hellish experience. It abstracts too much of what the scanner driver is doing. I don't know what units it's doing things in. It snaps input numbers to the nearest number t
