A lot more like https://googleprojectzero.blogspot.com/2021/12/a-deep-dive-i... The mov trick is akin to OISC, the "one instruction set computer". Here instead it's building logic circuits.

There is Analyzed-by, it's not super common but in the end you can make up whatever *-by you want. You can also say "Thanks to ... for analyzing the issue and suggesting a possible fix".

Emailed patches are not a huge deal for you after submission, and theoretically the first submission should be the same for both (apart from the tool you use to make it). Maintainers reply to emails with comments and you reply to them. The

HE was refusing to provide internet connectivity to Kiwi Farms's host, that's a different thing than net neutrality. They're not interfering with traffic even though the EFF puts it that way, they're dropping a customer.

There's a huge secondary market but it certainly could be bigger. I wonder if Lego themselves shouldn't advertise more how to get rid of old bricks.

It's sad, but to be fair it's "reduce reuse recycle" and there's no toy more reusable than Lego.

The suggestion in the parent comment is a bit different because one would think that the first sale doctrine applies. Unfortunately the courts are chipping at it more and more every year.

That assumes that you managed to ask the previous owner to log into iCloud on another phone and "free" the previous one for repairs. I guess you could do that if he's buying a new iPhone from you, but still... it is similar t

Yes, that part doesn't add up. The time from sending SYN to receiving SYN+ACK would be six milliseconds assuming lightspeed between the source and a destination 500 miles away. That said: I know the ending, and by now the details about

But if the phone doesn't turn on you can't authorize the removal. And if it turns on but a factory reset is enough to let you authorize the removal, you're back to square 1. Either way it's not feasible.

Google uses GPL software all the time and links it to proprietary software all the time. Since it runs on their servers and is never distributed, this is perfectly fine.

JSON was designed as a wire format, not as a configuration file. The original idea was to validate it with a regex to exclude malicious input and then eval() it. That explain why it's such a small subset. TOML on the other hand is also

At least Access has a sound model underneath. Excel is nothing but a damn grid, while Access has tables, keys and constraints _and_ a visual GUI builder on top of those. The development environment was an only slightly pared-down Visual Bas
