I am using freecad this way already. The macro is for generating variants as part copy objects (fully independent) which are then exported as STEP (or STL). The macro expect a part container named "export_family" with a single spr

In the realthunder form of freecad, I wrote a macro to give me a form of parametric variant generation. I am so looking forward to this.

Any measurement off by some small amount, and the connector won't insert, or be too tight or too loose. It is the equivalent of code that compiles and runs successfully at the first attempt. It is nice, and with experience easier to ac

I cannot tell for sure if units are really all power of 10. I found some datasheet that states 80GB of VRAM, and a BAR of 80GiB. All caches are also in power of two. The bandwidth are all power of 10 though. https://www.nvidia.co

You guessed wrong! I biked for sport in France and the bay area. But also for commuting in San Francisco (so dangerous), and Palo Alto for many years. My reaction was to the 50 km/h, as if the person was cycling at that speed. edit: ma

It's a cool feature. You don't need to proxy the upload via your web server. But instead it is directly handled by AWS. It's nost likely more efficient, faster, and cheaper (no need to handle the traffic and hardware to proxy

But spinning hard drive and SSDs are not working at the byte level, but at a power of two block. 512B to 4kiB usually. You purchase a number of those blocks, and the total amount of byte is a power of two. The filesystem then stores everyth

I don't think I see a dashed trail, but I will pay more attention. I mostly find that many modern car LED lights are flickering very obnoxiously. And it is worse during motion.

If I get that right the test is a single blinking led. I think it's much harder than detecting a flickering motion. I can definitely tell 30 vs 60 vs 120fps when moving a mouse cursor for example. For flickering LED light bulbs (120&#x

As a hobbyist, I cannot justify the cost of McMaster. I will confess that I often use it to find the precise name of a part for purchasing on Amazon/AliExpress. Maybe a quality service really does cost that much? But the gap in perform
