I think an amazing song or piece could come from or certainly be used in a crappy movie, but I don’t think you can have a definitive entire soundtrack for a bad movie. I could probably be proved wrong( I don’t think it’s entirely causal b

As you learn more about “raw” html you find all sorts of very fun things that are - ah - not very well implemented if at all.

I don’t know if perfect soundtracks would save your examples; I’d argue that the malaise infects everything: you can’t make a great soundtrack for a mediocre movie.

I’ve literally watched my car (only car around) trigger the yellow heavy traffic warning (because I was driving slow to look for something). Yet thousands of cars doing 60 mph through a cornfield and over a river doesn’t trigger a “maybe a

Tons of car donation options exist (I just linked https://www.catholiccharitiesusa.org/ways-to-give/donate-a-v... elsewhere) - but the big IRS loophole was closed (before the charity could just give you a bullshit rece

Normally if you're donating to something like Catholic Charities, you kind of have a bit of a hint what they do (though AFAIK they don't specifically target only Catholics) https://www.catholiccharitiesusa.org/ways

What are the details of the tax incentives? Some are "real loss" (e.g., the area produced $10k a year in property tax before, and now produces $0) and others are "lost future taxes" where it produces nothing now, and now

IIRC Nate Silver (or Bronze as the kids called him) was the only poll aggregator to even give Trump "a chance", but he really went overboard afterwards arguing that he got "it right" even though clearly he was wrong.

This is important as flooded vehicles are a common sight on the salvage-title market. Though the idea of a single rider calling for a Waymo and slowly one-by-one 3,800 Waymos drove into a flood and were washed away ...

There's some places where Apple still thinks I'm driving through a cornfield even though the development is a few years old, now. I suppose I could inform them somehow, but it's not worth the bother.

Yeah from a tax standpoint you're fine, but from a "whole business cash-flow" concept you could end up in the hole even though on paper you traded $5k for $5k (accountants might have it booked somewhere as "goodwill"

There's a real value for no such agency types having something that is secure against "normal" government activity - a subpoena is one thing, and designing something that defeats that gives you a lot of legitimacy.

If I spent $5k as a business to realize $5k in revenue the tax is zero (ignoring as you say sales VAT, etc) The problem comes when the $5k you “traded” also didn’t cover the actual expense to provide the $5k you “earned” - now you have an

Discovery in a criminal trial is more limited than in a civil trial. Your only real defense against discovery is to not have said it, or to have destroyed all records of it before the hint of discovery wafted on the wind.
