Not sure which part of the UK you're in but the North of England and South of Scotland have a fair few campsites with them. They can be set up with stoves and comfortable beds so fit into the "glamping" bracket.

From the article: "Slack lets us talk and make the same decisions we would have made in meetings anyways.". So there's still IM etc.. Easier to turn off, though, no?

If physically disconnecting it is easy enough then I'd agree that is preferable. Only plug it in when required. How about creating a firewall rule and then toggling that instead of physically disconnecting the Chromecast? I found a lik

Perhaps someone else knows the actual ratio of inherited to earned wealth. I'm sure it varies but the majority of people, in fact almost all of them, are not going to win the lottery. My experience of wealth has been through working in

Those are outliers, I think. Most wealth is family wealth and it is measured in the billions of assets under management. The land is owned. The companies are owned. The bonds and share certificates are in the bank.

It's good to have e2e crypto but the clients aren't very pretty. That's going to put folk off. Just saying. I use Signal myself and it's nicer than Riot, IMHO, but I can't get anyone else on to it other than my othe

Luck is always a factor although the amount you need will be diminished by the skills, experience, available time and means, as you point out. Many young developers are in his position though. They have a modicum of skills (he admits he can

I have done a little with NightmareJS and really liked it. A bit of syntatic sugar over Mocha with the option to drop down when required. Very succinct, I thought, and easy to start with. I, too, prefer to avoid Selenium, though.

This is seriously one of the killer features. How can a company use this if everything is in the clear? How can you even have a conversation if at any time it can all be dragged up and pored over? The double ratchet of Signal, for instance,

First time I've heard of Cage. Given the entirely reasonable reasons Mr Rabbani gave for non-compliance I hope he wins his case. He is surely in the right? The awful treatment of non-white UK citizens at our borders is another problem
