I don't think $6 is hideously underpriced, considering that it is only an expansion. The core game costs $20. A third of the price isn't that bad a price point for game addons.

This is particularly bad news when you couple it with the Flash vulnerability that's gonna be open for a few weeks. You exploit a couple big OpenX installs, put some Flash ads in there and infect a whole lot of users. On a sidenote, are the

Another thing you should do is change the company name and company website to optional. A lot of freelancers have neither of those and it feels weird to make up a company name and use a personal blog as a company website.

I don't like the arbitrary minimum rate but I do see how it would differentiate you from the rest of freelancing marketplaces. I think it would be better to have different minimums depending on category and type of work. There is no reason

The money saved by not paying for software is not just sitting around waiting to be collected. It's being used for other things, quite likely generating a similar amount of economic activity . "Reducing the UK’s rate by 10 percentage poin

Stick with PHP since you are already comfortable with it. I've tried using Drupal but it's too damn complicated to get going. CodeIgniter is still based on PHP4. If you think that's a good idea, I guess CI is an option. There's also Kohana

You got your javascript widget and your noscript tag. You could even stick some regular HTML with a link (possibly an image instead of text) below those. Your users will copy-paste the widget along with your link. This is a pretty strong SE

Good article and a pretty interesting project. It took me a while to realise that this was about plugins not extensions. You don't hear much about people making browser plugins so my brain immediately translated plugins==extensions. http

You could start pronouncing lambda like the Greek. They say lam-tha, th as in the. Come to think of it, I wonder how that stray 'b' found its way in the romanization of the word.

A lot of big websites run on Wordpress. Modifying the WP core is a very bad idea, you want less maintenance, not more. How can you be sure the code is atrocious and wasteful? If it does something useful, you can optimize later. You don't ne

This would be a great feature in a lot of web-based apps. Generate a few hundred passwords when you are on a secure connection, use them when needed. Edit: I found a few implementations. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/one-time-passwor

It seems fitting for a commodity company to have a cloud offering. It will be interesting when your neighborhood energy company also offers computing resources on demand.

I think someone said in another thread that some users are not really clear on whether Google is a website, a browser, an OS or something else. The user that posted this question seems to prove that point.
