Thanks, I'm reading the paper* linked to on that site explaining the technique used in the library. It's encouraging me more to pursue implementing a 2D render on the GPU. I'm also inspired by a recent talk about gkurve**. *

It's worth noting that back then AA batteries were less efficient. Which is why later when AA's got better Nintendo was able to release the Gameboy pocket and Gameboy color using only 2 batteries.

Looking at both projects vscode uses typescript heavily while this project mainly uses coffeescript. So that might be a hindrance. So I guess that might be part of it.

I'm curious as to why that is. I would think it's LSP support would close the gap on languages (and intellisense) at least.

That's a fundamental C++ problem. That and all the other idioms it supports. C++ is really like 10 languages and you always have find a mentor to show you the specific one you're working with in a codebase.

DRM, especially the kind used in browsers, is cracked all the time. So the claim that it 'protects IP' is false. It mainly just adds a barrier to creating compatible competing browsers/players. Edit: Here's a worthy read

My argument lately has been: Should we be allowing code to run inside of our documents? Am I okay with PDFs, jpegs, mp4s etc. running arbitrary code when I open them?

This sounds almost like Dion. It would be cool to be able to feed the AST to a compiler backend like gcc/llvm and map to C's semantics. * https://dion.systems/gallery.html

I'd guess the Node.js and npm got composability w/ approachability formula the most correct. Rust comes close but using rust libraries is where approachability falls apart fast. As for editors. Right now vscode get that formula t

I'm using rust to develop a internet client. So I need libraries for gui; rust has many to choose from (I'm using gtk currently). I see a few that plan on supporting Android which I'd like to port to down the line. Of course

I've looked a tiny bit into Ada and I like the language. I particularly like the pascal-like syntax and the ranges feature. However I love rusts cargo and build system better than Alire. As Alire seems to bolted ontop of gprbuild. I al

It seems to me Mac users care about using native UI toolkits more so than Linux or even Windows users. I would suppose that has to do with how polished and integrated that platform is. As a Linux user I really don't care if you use GTK
