I still have my webOS Palm Pre, this was the last version that was round like a stone pebble. It still starts up. It is a very nice design that is satisfying to hold. Version after the switched to a more flat with a little larger screen. No

AR, like it has been depicted in sci-fi where digital objects can be placed within the real environment in the users full field of view is very hard to do and is decades away, if even possible. What some companies call AR today isn't,

This is quite wrong and uniformed. I build and run from source, both my own and from others all the time on my Mac.

A lot of software (most?) don't have zero marginal cost. Every new customer (organisation!) that is onboarded must have their own customisations to make it useful for them. The real business is doing this by charging per hour to do tho

Pixelmator, Transmit, Nova There definitely exists a market for desktop apps. But they need to be superior (especially in the "sparks joy" department) to the opensource/multi platform alternatives.

This monitor being 60Hz is a joke, both for gaming and regular desktop use. Get a gaming monitor instead. I use a DisplayPort and USB KVM switch to comfortably switch between my gaming PC and Mac mini. Both PC gaming and Mac work in 144Hz,

Someone should make a small utility that changes the text of this and the "not activated" text to say whatever you want. Does it already exist?

I have tried both. Dune Legacy is not faithful to the original and feels kind of broken gameplay wise. Dynasty is very close to original gameplay with better controls.

I still enjoy playing Dune II single player campaign. It's one of those games I return to. http://dunedynasty.sourceforge.net works great and has some modern controls added to it and you can integer scale it to look great o

I use "for.. of .." loop in JavaScript, I think it's the most readable form. Not a fan of "map" and its ilk, make code harder to understand and modify over time.

I got rid of VR motion sickness after a while. Same thing with DOOM back in 1994 or so. There is a problem though with a lot of crap games not implemented with comfort in mind and badly optimised. Stuttering will get you feel bad fast.

The Amiga had to be sold with a minuscule amount of memory to have any chance in the home computer market. Memory at this time was very expensive and UNIX would have required too much of it.

It is easy to change, it a dropdown in Safari settings, very easy to find. I agree though that Google pays Apple billions to be the default stinks. Even though in this case Apple greed aligns perfectly with user expectation.
