Is this defense more nuanced than "before they committed fraud they didn't commit fraud"? Yeah, i guess you could see that as a silver lining, but it puts it squarely in the past.

Yeah, it really demonstrates how these lists live in a cultural context. Several of them have counter examples from my daily life. On the other hand, some of them come from not appreciating that a timezone is a cultural and legal construct

And because js is frequently minified, there is a way to specify the names as string literals to keep the injection working.

That's the approach that the Down Dog yoga app seems to take. They had an instructor go through all the poses and transitions, and they can then run all sorts of different classes by combining them in different ways. They do it pretty

Any prng with a fixed (finite) amount of state will eventually return to a state it has already been in, if run long enough. Determinism then dictates that it will begin repeating outputs. It's odd as a requirement, but it's a nat

It's not clear in TFA but the paper it's based on focuses on the history of dice in the Netherlands and doesn't claim that dice didn't exist elsewhere earlier.

Not to pile on, but I think you're imagining some kind of TLS framework that simply doesn't exist currently. It's not clear if you're misunderstanding what exists now, or you're alluding to a different possibility w

Serverless means you don't manage servers. For instance, you create containers but don't deal with the hosts.

Right. It's not that "normal" C# code uses a lot of reflection, but it's useful in a lot of small places. So the chances of any given program requiring at least some is pretty high.

Encryption without authentication is meaningless, and it's no accident that https has them so tightly linked. If you can't tell that you are securely communicating with mitm, what's the point?

Some of the (suspected and unstated) motivations for states deciding to "reopen" against medical advice is that it allows the state to get people their off unemployment rolls. This is going to be a huge factor that varies state-to

No need to limit asset classes, this is the problem blind trusts are designed to solve. It's the tool that anyone who wants to avoid the appearance of impropriety uses.
