But then you'd at least know which calls you can most likely ignore based upon whether they're in your contact or not. As of now, I've received more than a few calls from random contacts that turned out to be spoofed car warr

Wait, but the voicemail you left said it was my warranty, not my insurance... Which is it?!

I actually didn't know that wabbitemu existed. Don't have much of a use for it anymore, but I definitely have it setup on my phone now -- thanks!

Not to even mention that Brightscript, the proprietary language running the device, can be a nightmare at times. I've encountered so many quirks/issues that just don't exist/happen on other platforms like AndroidTV/

I mean, you can... But you can't get another man pregnant, so there's really no point (at least in terms of fertility).

At least from my own retail experience, the whole "we're not supposed to, but..." means exactly what was said -- we're not supposed to, but we're willing to make an exception this time because insert reason . It&#x

To be fair, I'm not entirely sure that humans shouldn't be classified as "wild animal(s)" as well if that's the case.

Not sure about other retailers, but the one I work for (300+ stores and still expanding) doesn't really allow us to enforce such mask mandates. Sure, we have a sign posted that says you need a mask, but it's an understood no-no to

I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to storing vast amounts of data, especially of this nature, but why would you use Excel rather than an actual database?

I thought Cloudflare was having issues again, since I use their DNS servers, so I started by changing that. Then I tried restarting everything, modem/router/computer. Wasn't until I connected to a VM that a friend hosts that

It's not a realistic solution, but you could always use a secondary router as a client bridge (basically acts like a client, connecting to the hotspot, and then routes ethernet traffic through said connection). It won't be as fast

At work, we've all basically agreed that if we run out of change and can't get any more, that we'll bring in our own jars, count it out, and exchange it for cash. It's a last resort, for sure, but we've already disc

Well, take the store I work at, for example -- we've been told, by our bank that is open, that they're now limiting change orders to one roll of each denomination (for a total of $17.50), as they themselves are limited in what cha

This is actually part of the reason that I created an account here. I used to just visit once in a while, but now HN is one of my pinned tabs. I still use Reddit rather often, don't get me wrong, but my interest has been dwindling.

I've tried one at two different Burger Kings, both tasted a bit burnt. I wouldn't mind a legume taste, but I can't do overdone. Has anyone else noticed this?
