The WiFi radios 2 decades from now will probably be much different, anyway. Just look how quickly we've come since 802.11 A.

Maybe 5% of smartphone consumers would actually care about the nuts and bolts of it. I think Apple did a great job by showing it how it affects the user: battery life, speed for tasks, and demoing Real Racing 3.

You haven't seen a unibody phone anywhere. This thing will be a tank. The processors look nice and beefy as well.

It's incredibly annoying to see some people discount any design if it is anything more than flat and solid colors. Everyone of all design understanding levels understands a sense of craft . Subtle gradients, shadows, textures, and effects

If picking out what to wear "takes time", guess what: you need to become better at making decisions. Only a Jobs or Zuckerberg level of success gives you a pass to not vary your wardrobe.

It's only a matter of cutting the iPhone 4 LCD sheets larger. (And having a chipset that can power it more efficiently than the iPad 3.) Since it'll come out 1.5 to 2 years later, that's not far fetched.

Catching resolutions up to print DPI is not "style", it purely a quantitative exercise. The screen is the only component of computer hardware that we use at full capacity all of the time. It is much more important to get displays up to prin

AirPlay requires a GPU that has hardware h.264 encoding. This is so there isn't a performance hit to compress and send video to the AppleTV. You can download AirParrot if you'd like the functionality to work with a small performance hit.

Apple has actually been best-in-class for a while. The problem with Greenpeace's rating is that it doesn't take into account that Apple uses mostly aluminum and glass in their products, which are both extremely durable and recyclable.
